15 June to 15 September 2026 / Open Air Cinema in collaboration with the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art. Co-organised by KGW Kopiczanki.
The "Neighborhood" Series – screenings of films selected by the Neighborhood Council, including classic Polish comedies. The "Art" Series – presentations of artistic and auteur cinema, with introductions and post-screening discussions.
The art cinema program included documentaries, films exploring the topic of ecology as well as films exploring the lives of various communities around the globe/ video-art programm from Ujazdowski Castle art collection.

Films by young Kenyan filmmakers, winners of the LampArt Festival.
Our special guests: Dr. Izabela Plucińska, a Polish animation director and founder of the LampArt Film Festival. Magdalena Szymkow, director and cinematographer co-founding LampArt,
and Gabriella Hinzano Jumwa, a Kenyan animator based in Mombasa and a multiple award-winning artist, most notably for her animation "Mombasa Raha," which won the award for Best Experimental Film at the 2026 LampArt Short Film Festival.

Future Fragments is an initiative that explores the impact of technology on our future, including how we understand intelligence. Today, it is no longer understood as a fixed characteristic of individuals, but as a phenomenon that arises from relationships and develops through interactions between organisms, systems, and the environment. Technology, in turn, is not opposed to nature, but constitutes another layer of the global ecosystem in which we live. Over time, as intelligence and technology develop—in both human and nonhuman forms—our understanding of their role and influence on each other must evolve.
Future Fragments is a dynamic, decentralized platform that creates a space for voices, ideas, and individuals from various fields to meet, co-shaping the discourse on intelligence and technology. Lectures, discussions, workshops, presentations, and publications within Future Fragments are aimed at everyone interested in the changing present and the emerging future—researchers, creators, practitioners, and those seeking to better understand what is happening at the intersection of technology and culture.

Open Video curated by Janne Talstad

Since 2015 Janne Talstad has been organizing the initiative Open Video, to encourage Norwegian and international artist to show their videos together as part as a whole. The program has been shown in venues in Oslo, Svalbard, Dikemark, Bergen, Lier in Norway and Denmark, Cuba, Hong Kong, Orkney Islands and Warsaw, with the intention of being open to all, revealing video as the most free medium of any.
Open Video derives from the idea of Open Source, which means the open video is a video that can be freely used, changed, and shared. Thus the program in Open Video can be changed by both the curator and the artists involved over time. The program stays the same, with alterations based on natural needs. The program becomes a vessel for content, and in the arbitrary of the diverse content curatorial challenges will become obvious, which again creates the need for curatorial narration in the program. Janne Talstad has summarized the tendencies in the field through the development of the medium, and the curatorial
instructions to the different artists became clear; do your best or do what you need. Some has done both. One can say that this video program is the same as any, which is true in a sense, but it's different in the notion that it lacks a center, an agenda and an intention. The aspiration is both aesthetic, political and dealing with the medium as such, so by mixing the program as a note sheet a video graphic composition becomes apparent. The program bites its own tail, the identity of the artist becomes secondary, and the program turns into a joint effort of showing the variety of how to deal with and produce video. The program
transforms into a vessel, a toolbox, which changes through the different venues it's presented, in size, quality and geography. The source code is open; generating a diverse landscape of work, through the media of video. The artists share one thing; a total dedication to their own practice, though video might only be one of their tools, one way of expressing oneself. Video is easy to carry, because you only need a memory stick. We intend on being the messenger.
